Philadelphia: J.T. Bowen, 1840-44. Original hand-colored lithographs, 6 7/8" x 10 5/8" (sheets), matted and framed to 10" x 13" or 11" x 14 1/2". Imprint in lower margin printed in italics. Provenance: Schramm Galleries (Ft. Lauderdale, purchased 1962). A group of 9 framed prints from the first octavo edition of Audubon's Birds in America. Condition Faint even toning, not examined out of frames.
