[QUR'AN]. Manuscript on paper, 195 leaves, Iran, 17th century, 112 x 150 mm, written in Arabic in a clear naskh script, 20 lines per page, title and opening leaf illuminated in gold, lapis lazuli, and red, text within gold borders with gold roundel verse markers and red diactric and vowel points, marginal catchwords in red and gold, each leaf archivally inset to japanese paper, bound in modern 3/4 morocco (mechanically mylared). Condition Worming throughout with some resulting losses, even toning to leaves.
