AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Group of six vintage Walt Disney, Disneyland, Buena Vista and Official Mickey Mouse Club records, spanning the 1950s through 1960s and including original motion-picture music, Disney attraction material, classic children’s stories and an early Mickey Mouse Club 78 RPM recording. Several are offered as loose records without jackets, while the Bambi and It’s a Small World albums retain their covers. Research identifies the individual recordings as follows: 1 > WALT DISNEY’S BAMBI ~ ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUND TRACK Vintage Disneyland Records 12" 33? RPM LP, catalog WDL-4010, originally issued in 1957. The cover advertises music from the original motion-picture soundtrack and specifically lists Love Is a Song, Little April Shower, Let’s Sing a Gay Little Spring Song and I Bring You a Song. Contemporary trade reporting from 1957 identifies WDL-4010 as Disney’s original Bambi soundtrack LP, while Disney discographic sources document the title among the label’s earliest feature-film soundtrack releases. Bambi itself premiered in 1942 as Disney’s fifth animated feature. 2 > WALT DISNEY PRESENTS IT’S A SMALL WORLD ~ STORYTELLER LP Disneyland Records 12" 33? RPM Story Teller LP, catalog ST-3925, first issued in 1964. This album was created around Disney’s then-new It’s a Small World attraction, which debuted at the 1964 New York World’s Fair before being relocated to Disneyland. The recording is narrated by Winston Hibler, with the famous title song written by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman. The photographed yellow cover showing the Disneyland attraction corresponds with a later cover variation of the same ST-3925 issue. These albums were originally produced as gatefold presentations containing a full-color illustrated book. The illustrated booklet is missing from this example, with remnants of the former paper pages still present inside the cover. 3 > WALT DISNEY PRESENTS THE STORIES OF HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN Disneyland Records DQ-1276, a 1965 12" 33? RPM LP featuring four Hans Christian Andersen stories: The Emperor’s New Clothes, The Little Match Girl, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, and The Shepherdess and the Chimney Sweep. The U.S. release is documented with narration by Robie Lester and music by Camarata, one of the principal musical figures behind early Disneyland Records. This record is included without the original album jacket. 4 > WALT DISNEY’S DUMBO ~ ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE MUSIC Disneyland Records 12" 33? RPM LP, from the soundtrack program originally issued as WDL-4013 in 1957 and subsequently issued as DQ-1204. The recording includes music from Disney’s 1941 animated feature Dumbo, including Look Out for Mr. Stork, Casey Jr., Baby Mine, Pink Elephants on Parade and When I See an Elephant Fly. Featured performers include Betty Noyes, Cliff Edwards and the Disney Studio Chorus. This example is a loose record without the album jacket. 5 > WALT DISNEY’S THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE ~ ORIGINA
