AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > In the original box, a vintage Colonial Williamsburg Worcester Floral hardbound journal by The C.R. Gibson Company, Norwalk, Connecticut, with blue cloth-style cover, gilt border and central floral panel featuring roses, tulips, smaller blossoms and butterfly. Interior contains 150 ruled pages for diary, journal or personal writing use. The original Colonial Williamsburg identification insert remains inside and identifies the design as WORCESTER FLORAL, inspired by floral motifs found on a Worcester porcelain vase and leaf dish in the Colonial Williamsburg collection. The insert is copyright dated MCMLXXXVIII, 1988, by The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and identifies production by The C.R. Gibson Company, printed in the U.S.A. Colonial Williamsburg developed an extensive reproductions program based upon decorative arts preserved in the historic collection, adapting period furniture, ceramics, textiles and graphic designs for contemporary household and gift items. This journal combines that program with C.R. Gibson’s long-established production of stationery, albums and personal books. A useful and decorative piece for journal writing, personal notes, guest book use, keepsake recording or Colonial Williamsburg collecting, particularly appealing with the original descriptive insert and unused ruled interior retained.
