Rustic STONEWARE POTTERY GARDEN URN FLOWER PLANTER

NO SHIPPING ~ LOCAL PICKUP ONLY > A substantial glazed stoneware pottery planter weighing over 5 lbs., standing 7.5" tall and measuring 8.25" in overall outside diameter. Heavy, thick-walled construction with a broad rolled rim, rounded body and stepped circular base. The exterior is decorated with raised molded scroll and foliate designs beneath horizontal bands, finished in a richly mottled blue-green gloss glaze with cream and earthy brown variations throughout. The stepped base is largely unglazed, while the interior carries a lighter neutral glaze and incorporates a central drainage opening. The substantial weight and broad pedestal base provide excellent stability for use as a planter, jardinière, cachepot or decorative garden vessel. The combination of relief decoration, mottled glaze and substantial stoneware construction gives the piece a strong Arts and Crafts or early 20th-century garden pottery character, suitable for indoor display, porch use or a covered garden setting. CONDITION REPORT > As discovered, not cleaned or altered. Normal evidence of age, use and outdoor storage, with scattered glaze wear and surface variation throughout.
