The reverse exhibits toning, scattered marks, labels, and ink stamps. Presented in a decorative gold-tone frame displaying light wear and abrasions. According to verbal history, the painting was discovered in 1990 at a rural property acquired together with its remaining household contents. It subsequently remained in private hands for more than three decades. The reverse bears a “Musée d’Orsay” label referencing Vincent van Gogh and the year 1890, together with additional French gallery, exhibition, and collection markings.
