Pair of hand-carved wooden literary folk-art figures depicting Don Quixote and Sancho Panza from Miguel de Cervantes’ Don Quixote. Don Quixote is portrayed on horseback carrying a lance, while Sancho Panza rides a donkey. Both feature detailed carved facial features, clothing, tack, and individual wooden bases. The larger Don Quixote figure measures approximately 8.5" tall x 6.5" long x 2" wide. The smaller Sancho Panza figure measures approximately 6.5" tall x 5" long x 3" wide.
