Two intertwined serpents set with multiple cabochon turquoise, eyes accented by small rubies. Retaining original safety chain, suspending a movable floral-form turquoise drop pendant. Serpent motifs were iconic of Victorian jewellery, symbolising everlasting affection. Turquoise was a highly favoured gemstone in European antique jewellery of the 1800s. This example is executed in high-fineness continental 21-carat gold. Gold shows wear consistent with age; turquoise and rubies intact; pin fitting, safety-chain and movable drop are complete and functional, overall in good preserved condition.

ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS.

Additional photographs and condition reports may be provided upon request as a courtesy only.
