set with Diamonds.

4.7*4.6cm Main diamond approx. 0.5 ct Total weight approx. 0.75 ct -Wt:20.3g

The chimera is a mythical beast from ancient Greek mythology, a common motif in Western art and architecture, most famously represented by the sculptures atop Notre-Dame de Paris. This brooch depicts the creature with a lion's head, eagle's wings and serpent's tail, arranged in perfect bilateral symmetry. It features consummate gold carving; feather details on both wings are sharply defined. The centre diamond weighs 0.50 carats. Antique jewels with chimera themes have seen soaring prices in recent years, with strong market demand. Their value rivals that of many long-established jewellery houses, making them coveted must-have pieces for many seasoned antique jewellery collectors.

ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS.

Additional photographs and condition reports may be provided upon request as a courtesy only.
