Antique 1940s Philco Model 40-155 Prewar Tabletop Tube Radio. Includes: AM broadcast, shortwave & police bands with eight push button presets. This collectible prewar radio has a wedge shaped bentwood cabinet, glass tuner dial and great art deco streamline styling. Original grill cloth is still intact as well as four bakelite knobs that are likely original. Radio tuner does not light up when powered on but does turn and function. The radio sounds like it may work as there is lots of static after the tubes warm up.
