(10) Eisenhower Dollars Silver Proof Struck -(1) 1971-S -(3) 1972-S -(1) 1973-S -(5) 1976-S Silver Proof Dollars Ike (Eisenhower) Dollars were struck from 1971 to 1978 and were minted at the following mints: Denver, Philadelphia and San Francisco. Not all San Francisco Mint marked Dollars are 40% Silver. To be sure you are purchasing 40% Silver Ike Dollars check the weight. Silver Eisenhower Dollars are 24.59 Grams while Clad are 22.80 Grams. Designed by Frank Gasparro. In 1976 there was a special run of Bicentennial coins with Moon behind Liberty Bell reverse. They were designed by Dennis R Williams. A very exciting series to collect.
