(8) Kennedy Half Dollars Graded and Certified as follows: 1970-S SEGS PR66 Deep Cameo Silver. 1971-S ANACS PF69 Proof Cameo 1976-S AMACS PF67 Proof D Cameo Silver 1976-S ANACS MS66 Silver 1976-S ANACS PF68 Proof D Cameo Silver 1976-S ANACS MS66 Silver 1993-S ANACS PF69 Proof D Cameo 2001-S ANACS PF68 Proof Cameo John F. Kennedy Half Dollars were minted by the 3 United States Mints: San Francisco, Denver and Philadelphia. Struck from 1964 to present date. Minted in 90% Silver only in 1964. In 1965 and until 1969 they were struck in 40% Silver as clad. After 1969 they were Copper Nickel Clad. Special editions were also struck in 90% Silver throughout the series. Obverse designed by Gilroy Roberts. Reverse designed by Frank Gasparro. A fairly easy set to complete with several types and varieties make this an interesting set!
