Imperial German M1898 Quill Back Bayonets. (1) Quill Back Bayonet. Single edged, quillback blade with fuller. Maker marked by Simson on the ricasso. Steel hilt with serial numbered guard and wood grips. Leather scabbard with matching serial numbers and plated steel fittings. (1) Quill Back Bayonet. Single edged, quillback blade with fuller. No visible marks. Steel hilt with wood grips. Leather scabbard with nickel-silver fittings and leather frog. Blade Length: 20 5/8" Total Length: 25 3/4" Condition: Good. Light to moderate wear, oxidation, dark spots and finish loss. Light grease residue to one.
