Imperial German M1898 Quill Back Bayonet. Single edged, quillback blade with fuller. Royal acceptance stamps on the spine. Maker marked by Simson & Co on the ricasso. Serial numbered on the crossguard. Steel hilt with wood grip. Leather scabbard with steel fittings. Blade Length: 20 1/2" Total Length: 25 5/8" Condition: Good. Light to moderate oxidation, dark spots, finish loss and scuffs in wooden handle. Leather scabbard is lightly bent.
