Civil War USN M1841 Naval Cutlass. Double edged blade. No visible marks. Cast brass hilt with D guard and fish scale pattern grip secured by three steel rivets. Dry etched pattern inside the guard. M1860 leather sheath with brass rivets. Blade Length: 21 Total Length: 26 1/2" Condition: Good. Moderate wear, dark spots, finish loss and oxidation. Brass chape on sheath is missing. Moderate wear to leather.
