Parsons, Arthur Wilde (British, 1854-1931). St. Ives from Porthminster Hill. Etching, titled and signed below platemark. 5 1/2" x 8 3/4" (Sight). 13 1/2" x 16 1/4" (Frame). Matted in a wood frame. Not examined out of frame. Arthur Wilde Parsons was a British marine and landscape artist celebrated for his evocative paintings of the Cornish coast, particularly around St Ives and Porthminster. Known for his masterful depictions of water, light, and maritime life, Parsons captured the beauty and atmosphere of England's coastal landscapes in both oil and watercolor.
