Not examined out of frame. Herbert Gordon Warlow was a British architect, etcher, and Associate of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers, renowned for his exceptionally detailed architectural prints. Influenced by Charles Meryon, Warlow combined technical precision with imaginative medieval figures, creating some of the finest and most intricate etchings in the British tradition. Etching #2: James Macintyre Etching Glasgow Cathedral Macintyre, James (Scottish, late 19th C). Glasgow Cathedral. Etching, signed in pencil lower right below plate. 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Sight). 15" x 18" (Frame). Matted in a wood frame. Toning visible on mat and print. Not examined out of frame. James MacIntyre was a prominent Scottish printmaker active during the 1880s who specialized in detailed, atmospheric etchings of historical landmarks, cityscapes, and coastal ruins across Scotland.
