Pasmore, Victor (British 1908-1998). Untitled, 1991. Color aquatint and etching 7/100, Numbered, dated, and signed below platemark. Vigna Antoniniana Stamperia d'Arte chop mark lower left. 10 1/2" x 13 1/4" (Sight). 14" x 16 5/8" (Frame). Matted in a wood frame. Not examined out of frame. Victor Pasmore was a leading British artist who shifted from naturalistic landscapes to pioneering geometric abstraction and constructivist reliefs in post-war Britain. He co-founded the Euston Road School and fundamentally reshaped modern British art by championing independent abstract forms and spatial constructions. Vigna Antoniniana Stamperia d'Arte was a historic fine art printmaking and lithography workshop based in Rome, Italy, which collaborated with prominent international artists.
