This circular rosette brooch is designed in a traditional Scottish style, featuring a central faceted amber-colored stone secured by a six-prong crown setting. The centerpiece is surrounded by a ring of six petal-shaped settings inlaid with various hardstone cabochons, including varieties of jasper and agate. The silver frame is decorated with engraved foliate and geometric patterns. The reverse is fitted with a horizontal pin and rollover safety clasp. The back is stamped with the characters IG and SIL. This item is of United Kingdom origin and silver metal content (hallmark unconfirmed, recheck). Weight: 8.58 grams Diameter: approx. 3.0 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: Fair condition. One hardstone inlay is missing from the outer ring. The central faceted stone exhibits minor chips and surface wear along the facet edges. There is significant tarnish and green oxidation residue visible around the central setting and on the reverse. The pin and clasp are functional.
