framed traditional Jewish papercut art piece (Mizrach) featuring a highly intricate, multi-layered cut design. It highlights Jewish symbolism and central themes focused on the holy city of Jerusalem. Dimension: 24 3/4"x 30 1/2". At the heart of the artwork is a detailed oval vignette depicting the Old City of Jerusalem. The papercut captures characteristic stone architecture, arched entryways, domed roofs, and the historic Western Wall outline.Surrounding the central cityscape is a circular band inscribed with Hebrew calligraphy text, likely consisting of verses from Psalms (Tehillim) celebrating Jerusalem, such as “If I forget thee, O Jerusalem...” or “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem...”Branching out from the center is an ornate network of intertwined vines, leaves, and fruits. The design prominently features grape clusters, figs, pomegranates, and wheat stalks, which are symbolic representation motifs of the Seven Species (Shivat HaMinim) native to the Land of Israel.
