Brass Neoclassical Table Lamp w/ Raised Band

Vintage brass table lamp, mid-to-late 20th century, designed with a broad circular weighted base supporting a tall, elegantly tapered urn-form standard in a warm antiqued brass finish. The central body is encircled by a substantial raised decorative band worked with grape clusters, leaves, and scrolling vine motifs in contrasting darkened metal, providing a richly textured accent against the otherwise restrained form. The lamp retains its brass-tone socket assembly, harp, and electrical cord, though no shade or finial is present in the supplied photographs. The combination of classical urn proportions and grapevine ornament reflects the Neoclassical and Hollywood Regency decorative vocabulary popular in American interiors during the latter half of the 20th century; comparable vintage brass lamps with grape and foliate ornament continue to appear in the secondary market. Condition is consistent with age and use, with scattered tarnish, oxidation, finish variation, surface scratches, small abrasions, and areas of discoloration throughout the brass surfaces, particularly across the broad base; the decorative band retains good relief detail.
