Elegant pair of Regency style armchairs featuring ebonized wood frames with gently curved arms, square cane backs, tapered front legs, and restrained gilt accenting around the seat rails and upper legs. Each chair is fitted with a loose upholstered seat cushion in muted red velvet, creating a strong contrast against the dark frames. The woven cane panels remain visually striking, with one appearing lighter in tone than the other, likely from age or replacement. The chairs show age and use with scattered scuffs and scratches to the ebonized finish, minor wear to the gilt decoration, and visible wear, fading, and staining to the velvet upholstery. Chair with older caning has a small damaged spot as pictured. Measure 33.5"H x 23.5"W x 21"D with Seat height of 15" tall each.
