Collection of 25 clear glass bell jar smoke bells in a variety of diameters and profiles, each formed with a broad circular flange surrounding a raised domed center and a small opening at the top for suspension or mounting. Traditionally used with hanging lamps, candles, or oil-lighting fixtures to help capture smoke and protect ceilings and surrounding surfaces, these examples display subtle variations in shape, proportion, and glass thickness, suggesting manufacture over different periods rather than as a matched set. The group has strong architectural and lighting appeal and would also lend itself well to restoration projects or decorative reuse. Condition is consistent with age and prior use, with scattered surface scuffs and scratches and some examples showing small rim nicks or minor edge wear; no major breaks.
