A finely cast early 20th century Austrian bronze desk stamp box featuring a richly modeled relief of a stalking hunting dog in motion across a naturalistic landscape, the lid hinged and opening to reveal a fitted interior compartment designed to house stamps or desk accessories, with a central lidded recess and side apertures typical of stamp boxes of the period; the exterior displays a warm, aged bronze surface with attractive natural patina and areas of verdigris, while the sculptural dog form extends slightly beyond the lid edge, adding a dynamic three-dimensional quality, the piece raised on small integrated feet and retaining its original utilitarian form; condition shows visible scuffs, scratches, oxidation, and wear consistent with age and use, with no major structural issues observed and the hinge functioning as intended. Measures 1.25" H x 7" W x 4" D.
