Antique Kenton American Bulldog Cap Pistol

Updated September 18, 2026

Era: Early 1900s–1920s Antique cast-iron "American Bulldog" toy cap pistol, commonly attributed to the Kenton Hardware Company. Measures approximately 5 inches long. Features raised lettering on both sides, a textured grip, and an aged dark-metal patina. The hammer and trigger mechanism appear to operate properly, but the pistol has not been tested with caps. Surface oxidation and general wear are consistent with its age. This is a toy cap pistol and not a functional firearm.
