Vintage Remington Model 550 series semi-automatic rifle chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle ammunition. Features a blued-steel barrel and receiver, tube magazine, adjustable rear sight, fixed front sight, and one-piece wood stock. Includes the attached sling. No serial number is visible, which is common on many pre-1968 rimfire rifles. Estimated mid-20th-century production, circa 1940s-1960s. The buttplate is missing. The stock exhibits considerable scratches, scuffs, finish loss, residue, and general handling wear. Metal surfaces display finish thinning, scratches, discoloration, and scattered oxidation.
