11 1/4" tall x 6" dia. A beautiful handmade studio pottery teapot featuring a striking multi-toned glaze in deep oxblood red and warm speckled tan, applied in horizontal banded striations for a rich, painterly effect. The teapot features a graceful overhead bamboo handle bound with cane wrapping at the attachment points, a fitted lid with a turned knob finial, and a nicely shaped spout. The underside bears an artist's signature, confirming this as a genuine piece of studio pottery. A wonderful addition for collectors of handmade ceramics, studio pottery teapots, Japanese-influenced tea ware, or those seeking a functional piece of artisan craftsmanship for everyday tea service or display. Condition: Overall good condition. Please examine all photos closely for any chips, hairline cracks, or crazing to the glaze, particularly around the spout and lid rim. Bamboo handle shows expected natural wear and patina. We do our best to note visible flaws, but some imperfections may not be captured.
