This Japanese hand-painted earthenware lidded candy jar features stylized red and green lettering. The set includes a detachable metal rim-clip supporting a ceramic Santa Claus figurine holding a sign. A black printed mark on the basereads 1963 Holt Howard alongside a red foil sticker. The jar measures 6.25 inches high by 4.25 inches in diameter.The jar displays small brown stains on the exterior glaze and heavier staining on the unglazed rim and lid underside. Light surface oxidation is present on the metal clip. No chips or cracks.
