This lot includes a canvas haversack and a McKeever pattern leather cartridge pouch. The haversack flap bears black stenciled markings including a 2 over crossed rifles, U. S., CO. G, and 2ND IDA. The brown leather cartridge pouch featuresan embossed US within an oval border on the front and contains two rows of internal canvas cartridge loops.The haversack canvas shows heavy staining, fraying, and multiple holes in the front flap. Metal hardware exhibits heavy oxidation. The leather pouch shows significant surface cracking and finish loss.
