A pair of cylindrical tinned-steel milk cans featuring tapered shoulders and twin loop handles. One mushroom-style lid is boss-stamped PENNBROOK MILK CO encircling a central numeral 7. The shoulder of one can is impressed BUHL DETROITabove 10 GAL and the production mark 11 40 UTS LTD. The larger can measures 13 inches in diameter by 24 inches in height.Both containers exhibit significant surface rust, oxidation, and loss of the original tinned finish. Structural wear includes numerous dents and abrasions to the bodies, lids, and base rims.
