Antique Glass Demijohn in Wooden Tilter Cradle

This large aqua-tinted glass carboy features a reinforced collar and is secured within a primitive wooden pivoting framework. The assembly allows for controlled pouring and rests on a stepped wooden base. A faint molded mark is present onthe lower body of the glass, though the characters are not legible. The entire unit measures 14.5 x 13 x 31.5 inches.The wood shows a dark, aged patina with surface wear, scuffs, and staining. Metal hardware exhibits oxidation and rust. The glass remains structurally sound with minor surface abrasions.
