Title: Seated Woman in a Geometric Interior Technique: Oil on canvas Measures: Approximately 12.8 x 9.8 inches (32.5 x 25 cm), according to the reverse label Year: 1932, according to the reverse label Condition: Good overall condition, with strong colors and minor age-related wear consistent with the medium. The reverse exhibits extensive toning, staining, surface marks, labels, and ink stamps. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition report. Provenance: The reverse bears a “Musée d’Orsay” label identifying Pablo Picasso, “Sin título,” the year 1932, oil on canvas, and dimensions of 25 x 32.5 cm. The label also references an exhibition date of 1986. Additional reverse markings reference Galerie Louise Leiris, Paris; Christie’s; and Méditerranée Dorure–Beuze & Cie., Le Havre. These labels and stamps are presented as found and have not been independently verified. Visual Description: A colorful portrait of a seated woman rendered through intersecting geometric planes and strong black outlines. Her face is shown through overlapping frontal and profile views, while vivid areas of purple, blue, yellow, red, green, and brown structure both the figure and interior.
