Paint residue and splatter extend around the tacking edges and reverse of the canvas. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition report. Provenance: From a private American collection. Reportedly discovered among artworks and personal effects from the estate of a former Houston resident in 1987. Subsequent ownership history was provided verbally by the consignor. The reverse bears a partially legible marking referencing the Guggenheim, New York. This marking is presented as found and has not been independently verified. Visual Description: An energetic abstract composition formed by a dense network of dripped, poured, and splattered paint over a deep black ground. Bright passages of white, red, yellow, blue, green, orange, and purple intersect in sweeping lines, scattered droplets, and raised pools of pigment.
