Original oil-on-canvas portrait by noted Indiana artist Josephine Hart (Mrs. O. Fiske Thrasher), depicting a tender embrace between a young mother and child in soft blue and pastel tones. Signed “Josephine Hart” at the lower right and presented in a substantial antiqued gold and green frame with linen liner. Hart was a Purdue University graduate, Hoosier Salon exhibitor and award-winning portrait artist whose work is represented in the Evansville Museum collection. Artist biography remains attached to the reverse. approximately 19" X 22" including frame; artwork. Located in living room. Must bring your own packing materials, boxes and help to load items.
