Original multi-plate color etching by Austrian artist Josef Eidenberger (1899–1991), depicting Hildesheim’s historic Knochenhaueramtshaus, or Butchers’ Guild Hall, surrounded by half-timbered buildings and a public fountain. Titled within the plate and pencil-signed “Eidenberger” in the lower right margin. Presented under glass with layered burgundy and cream matting in an ornate black and antiqued gold-tone frame. Eidenberger was internationally recognized for his finely rendered architectural and landscape etchings of European and American landmarks. print is approximately 25" X 28" including frame. Located in dining room. Must bring your own packing materials, boxes and help to load items.
