Original color etching by listed Austrian artist Josef Eidenberger (1899–1991) depicting the historic Plönlein district of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. Eidenberger studied at the Vienna Academy of Graphic Arts and became especially known for his highly detailed, atmospheric color etchings of European and American architecture and landscapes. This finely rendered scene features a cobblestone street, half-timbered buildings, and medieval towers and gateways. Pencil titled at lower left and signed “Eidenberger” at lower right. Presented under glass with a wide rust-red mat and gold-tone frame; Approximately 19" X 24"; print, artwork. Located in living room. Must bring your own packing materials, boxes and help to load items.
