This 1970s Seiko Railroad Approved quartz watch has a stainless steel case with a white dial featuring bold black Arabic hour numerals, a red 24-hour military time track, and a drop-shaped luminous hour hand paired with a luminous minute hand and a red sweep second hand. The dial is signed "Seiko, Railroad Approved" above a lightning-bolt "Quartz" logo, with a day/date window at 3 o'clock currently showing "MON 30," and the reference "7123-898X R, Mov't and Dial Japan, Cased Hong Kong" printed at the base of the dial. The case back is stamped "Water Resistant, Stainless Steel, 7123-8429-P," serial number 262549, and a small diamond-shaped hallmark. Case diameter measures approximately 34.43mm excluding the crown. The watch is currently fitted with mismatched tan and brown leather straps, and includes a separate spare tan leather strap with a brass buckle.
