1970s Bercona De Luxe Super Date Watch

This 1970s Bercona De Luxe dress watch has a cushion-shaped case with a gold-plated bezel over a stainless steel back, the bezel edge stamped with a small diamond-shaped French metal-content hallmark. The gold-toned dial is signed "Bercona, De Luxe" in script, with "Super Date" and "France" printed below, rectangular bar-style hour markers at 12, 9, and 6, dauphine-style hour and minute hands with a red accent dot, and a magnified date window at 3 o'clock showing a red numeral. The case back is stamped "Steel Back - Base Metal Bezel - Stainless." The manual-wind movement is signed "Berco Inc, France, Unadjusted, One 1 Jewel." Case diameter measures approximately 35.14mm excluding the crown, and the watch is fitted to a grey crocodile-embossed leather strap with a gold-tone buckle.
