This miniature stoneware advertising jug is a rare piece from the Western Grocery Company, located at Main and Colfax. Bearing the inscription "Compliments of Western Gro. Co." it serves as a historic promotional item. Its distinctive brown-glazedp and natural body showcase the craftsmanship of early advertising merchandise. These pieces were often distributed as tokens of appreciation to customers in the early 20th century.
