This is an Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad lantern manufactured by Adams & Westlake. The bottom pot holder is marked 'Adlake Kero 2-43,' tying it to February 1943. Its red globe is uniquely engraved with 'UPRR,' an abbreviation for Union PacificRailroad, reflecting its historical railroad connection. This lantern was owned by a train engineer active between the 1930s and 1970s, adding personal provenance.
