COLOR, SEA WATER, DRAGON PATTERN AND CHILONG EAR. <br>Height:50cm (19.69in) , Diameter:36cm (14.17in) This magnificent palace?display vase has straight mouth, short neck, huge flattened globular body and oval foot ring, flanked by a pair of open?work chilong handles. It is covered with bright imperial?yellow ground decorated in famille?rose enamels. Rim and neck are adorned with cloud scrolls and precious floral patterns. The main body depicts two dragons chasing the pearl, one in reddish?brown, the other turquoise?blue. The powerful dragons are surrounded by swirling clouds, above surging sea waves and rocky cliff. The decoration is multi?layered with rich, sumptuous palette. The white glazed base bears under?glaze?blue six?character seal mark ??Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi??. Painted with exquisite craftsmanship, the imposing dragon motifs symbolize imperial supremacy.
