<br>Height:44cm (17.32in) , Diameter:23cm (9.06in) This classic meiping features small mouth, short neck, broad shoulder and tapering elongated body. Below the rim runs geometric brocade border, shoulder fully covered by scrolling peony blooms. The main body depicts continuous courtyard scene with pavilions, railings, plantains, willow trees, garden rocks and blossoms, portraying elegant court ladies under moonlit setting. The lower section is decorated with divided stylized lotus?petal panels enclosing precious floral motifs. The cobalt?blue pigment is rich and saturated, executed with vigorous brushwork in well?balanced composition, figures vividly rendered. The unglazed sandy base shows thick coarse ceramic body, affixed with old collection label. Figural?lady themed Yuan blue?and?white porcelains are scarce.
