WITH A LID.
Height:23cm (9.06in) , Width:14cm (5.51in) Complete with original lid, the ewer has a plump rounded body with well?modelled curved spout and handle, topped by a small neat finial. The whole vessel is covered in rich, even bright yellow glaze. The exterior is decorated in relief with scrolling flowering branches, with clearly defined veins on petals and leaves, creating strong three?dimensional effect. The spout and handle are integrally formed with the body with fine craftsmanship. The unglazed foot base exhibits natural age?related patina. Yellow glaze symbolizes imperial nobility in ancient China. Relief?carved yellow?glazed ewers are scarce surviving examples, possessing both practical and display value.

ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS.

Additional photographs and condition reports may be provided upon request as a courtesy only.
