Jack Kirby, Stan Lee, Don Heck, and Dick Ayers deliver the first confrontation between the Avengers and Doctor Doom, published February 1966. This Silver Age milestone features a brief guest appearance by the Fantastic Four. The storyfollows the new roster of Avengers as they are lured to Latveria by the villainous monarch.This 1966 issue displays bold colors (photo 1). The cover shows minor shelf wear and paper loss at the top corner (photo 4). Interior pages are tanned but complete and well-preserved (photo 7).
