Artist Val Mayerik and writer Steve Gerber present Adventure into Fear #19, a staple-bound paper comic book published in December 1973. This Bronze Age Marvel issue is highly significant for the first appearance of Howard the Duck. Thestory also features Man-Thing, Korrek the Barbarian, and Jennifer Kale.This 1973 issue retains bold cover colors. Minor spine stress and edge wear are visible (photo 1). Corners are slightly rounded (photo 2). Interior pages show tanning consistent with age.
