Golden Gate Depot PRR Plastic 8-1-2 Sleeper Car

This O scale plastic model passenger car is an 8-1-2 sleeper produced for the Pennsylvania Railroad. The body is finished in tuscan red with gold lettering. The model features 2-rail scale trucks and rolling metal wheels. The underside chassis includes detailed underbody equipment and bears a white adhesive label reading MADE IN CHINA. The item is accompanied by its original blue and yellow cardboard box from Golden Gate Depot of San Ramon, CA, which is marked with a manufacture date of June 2010.Length: 20.5 inchesGauge: 1.25 inchesBox Length: 25 inchesThe car is in fair overall condition. While the exterior plastic body and paint are well-preserved with only light surface dust on the roof, the metal undercarriage components exhibit significant issues. Heavy rust and oxidation are present on the central frame, mounting screws, and structural metal beams as seen in photos 11 and 12. The metal wheels and axles are in passive rolling condition. The original box shows light shelf wear to the edges and corners.
