This two-piece glazed earthenware cookie jar is designed as an anthropomorphic female mouse holding a small teddy bear, a model known as Melinda Mouse. The piece is composed of a hollow base and a removable lid comprising the head and shoulders. The underside of the base is marked with an embossed copyright notice reading © HOUSE OF LLOYD 1990 and is also embossed MADE IN THAILAND in the lower left section.Height: 13 inchesDiameter: 7.5 inchesThe cookie jar is in good overall vintage condition with the general character of light shelf wear to the unglazed foot rim. A single vertical hairline crack is present on the lower rear side of the pink skirt portion. There are no other visible chips, cracks, or repairs.
