This assortment of official vintage Boy Scouts of America equipment features an aluminum canteen by Regal. The canteen body is stamped on the side with script Regal over D51 and PAT NO. D25432. It includes a translucent plastic screw-on cap secured by a metal chain. The canteen is housed in a red canvas cover featuring an impressed circular emblem reading BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA and BE PREPARED above a single letter D. The reverse side of the cover is fitted with a metal belt clip and bears the handwritten name McCardel in black ink. Included is a white woven web belt with a solid brass buckle embossed with a circular design of two crossed arrows; the buckle reverse is stamped SOLID BRASS. The collection is accompanied by several cloth patches, including a Detroit council strip, unit number 331, a Cub Scout wolf-head patch, and a circular green and white event patch for the 1948 District 3 Camporee at Selfridge Field.Height: 9 inchesThe collection is in fair to good vintage condition.
