A collectible Pierrot-style clown doll featuring a hand-painted bisque head, hands, and feet with a cloth body. The head is decorated with white face paint, gold-painted eyelids, and purple teardrop accents, finished with a pinstriped cap design. The doll wears a coordinated two-tone costume composed of purple satin-like fabric with white polka dots and cream fabric with thin dark vertical stripes. The neck is adorned with a large, multi-tiered ruffled collar and a cluster of metallic gold and purple ribbons. Included are two miniature ceramic mask accessories; one echoes the doll face paint, while the second depicts a hobo-style clown with a winking eye and red nose. The doll is supported by a metal display stand. No maker's marks or signatures are legible on the doll or the accessories.Height: 17.5 inchesMask Width: 2.5 inchesThe doll is in good overall vintage condition. A large diagonal crack on the reverse of the small white mask accessory has been repaired with an application of clear glue. The costume exhibits minor shelf wear and there are no visible chips or cracks to the main doll components.
