A Swiss-made Heidi Ott Maurus doll featuring a vinyl head and limbs on a soft-weighted body. The doll has a reddish-brown synthetic wig in a bowl-cut style, fixed blue eyes with painted lashes, and light freckles across the bridge of the nose. He is dressed in a complete original multi-piece Swiss Alpine outfit consisting of a red and white plaid collared shirt under a burgundy textured knit V-neck sweater, paired with brown wool shorts. The shorts are held up by black fabric suspenders featuring embroidered white flowers and red hearts, finished with brown leather-style attachment tabs. The ensemble is completed with dark brown knit socks and brown lace-up hiking boots with white piping and silver-tone eyelets. A black hangtag attached to the right wrist reads ORIGINAL HEIDI OTT Made in Switzerland Handarbeit Mod. dep. in yellow print. The reverse of the tag features an orange circular spiel gut sticker and rectangular labels reading Maurus and K9.86.
